Hi and welcome.

My name is T’Errah Jessup. I am an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant with a background in Public Health. My journey as a lactation consultant is not your typical “reason why”. I discovered human lactation through my studies and research in maternal and child health. My love for babies ignited my passion to focus on maternal and child health during both undergrad and graduate school studies. I found that there were many disparities and barriers within women’s health that inspired me to become an advocate for the tiniest humans and their parents in such a special way.

I thrive on advocacy and support for families in the field of human lactation. My Approach to lactation care is a little different - I enjoy getting you the education you deserve from prenatal to weaning. I enjoy ensuring that you are supported wholly.

My “why” lies along the lines of: “Lack of support is a strong indicator of why some women give up. I want to be a part of the reason why they don’t.” I hope to help you blossom in your journey!
